The Results are In!
We received the results of our 2011 Patient Satisfaction Survey late on Friday, May 20, 2011 and I am pleased to let you know that we improved again this year. After reviewing 1,398 surveys this year, our survey partner informed us that we improved our average mean score in four of five categories and most importantly, we are well above the orthopaedic mean in all categories. The results are detailed below:

Another key question for us is “YOUR OVERALL SATISFACTION WITH OUR PRACTICE”. I am very pleased to inform you that 97.1% of the respondents rated our practice as either “excellent” or “very good”. We will continue to strive for perfection, but we are very grateful to our loyal patients and appreciative of your kind words and compliments.
2011 Patient Satisfaction Survey
 Again, we are very grateful to all of our patients for participating in our 2011 Patient Satisfaction Survey. The survey data has been sent to our survey partner. We should have the results back around the third week of May. In the meantime, we did complete our random drawing on Friday, April 29, 2011 and we wanted to share the results of that random drawing with you.

Effective December 23, 2010

In case of snow or other potentially hazardous weather or emergency situations, a decision may be made to close or delay office. These decisions are made after consulting the National Weather Service, local weather forecasters, and area law enforcement.

Patient Satisfaction Measurement
This year, we formalized our patient satisfaction measurement system by partnering with MGMA endorsed SullivanLuallin. We wanted to accurately measure our patients' level of satisfaction with our practice and then benchmark those findings against other orthopaedic and non-orthopaedic practices across the United States. We are pleased to share a few highlights from our March/April 2010 survey with you:
- 89.3% of our patients would definitely and 10.0% of our patients would probably recommend our physicians to others
- 79.1% of our patients rated our practice as excellent and 18.6% of our patients rated our practice as very good; and
- 94.2% of our patients found that they could schedule their appointment with us within a reasonable amount of time.
We will begin our 2011 Patient Satisfaction Measurement Study in March of 2011
The physicians at Ohio Valley Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine continue to provide top notch sports medicine care to several local and regional athletes. Drs. Taylor and Hill are team physicians to Edgewood, Wyoming and Lakota West High Schools, respectively.
