Advanced MRI system offers ideal balance of quality and comfort

Greater patient comfort, faster scan times and superior diagnostic capability are among the benefits Ohio Valley Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine provides with the introduction of its new powerful full-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system.

The practice recently installed a state-of-the-art GE1.5 Tesla short-bore scanner to offer full-body MRI services at its new office in West Chester, located at 4900 Wunnenberg Way.

The new machine combines high magnetic field strength – for the highest picture quality and a faster exam – with an open design that helps put patients at ease. The shorter bore, or tunnel length, helps minimize anxiety and claustrophobia, making the MRI process easier for all types of patients.
