Barton R. Branam, MD
Dr. Branam graduated summa cum laude from Denison University, where he was a starting linebacker and captain of the college football team. He received a medical degree from The University of Cincinnati and completed his orthopaedic residency at University Hospital, Cincinnati. There, he earned the Chief Resident of the Year award for pediatric orthopaedic surgery and, the Peter J. Stern, MD Chief Resident Leadership Award. He subsequently completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Kentucky, where he cared for competitive high school, college and professional athletes as well as recreational athletes of all ages.
Dr. Branam practices general orthopaedics with a special interest in sports medicine, arthroscopy, fractures and ligamentous injuries, and total joint replacement. He has advanced training in sports medicine, including arthroscopy and ligament and cartilage injuries of the knee and shoulder. |
